Sunday {Soul Compass} – The Pause in the Symphony

(Cards drawn today are from Doreen Virtue’s Archangel Oracle Cards and Sonia Choquette’s Ask Your Guides Oracle Cards)

Before we dive headlong into this morning’s reading, I want to share with you what I do to prepare to get some really specific personal insight out of my readings. It’s simply prepping myself, my psyche, and my energy to receive those beautiful little snippets of insight that can help to transform my entire day. (Just FYI… I usually repeat this short exercise two or three times to feel really clear and connected – but that’s just me. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) I want you to take a deep, cleansing breath. Close your eyes. Relax. From the tips of your toes to the top of your head, releasing tension in each muscle as best you can. Breath in – deep, slow, and rejuvenating. Now, with the exhale – I want you to expel every ounce of grey and yucky feeling ick from your body. In your minds eye, literally breath that grey fog out of your body. Another deep, cleansing breath in – fill your body with clean, clear, bright-feeling, refreshing energy, revel in it for just a bit – and off we go! โค

So – let’s begin….

Have you ever had one of those times where you feel like everything is at a stand still and you feel like you’re completely stuck and wallowing in a pool of black mud? Yup, you and 7 billion other people in the world – and that’s ok! Today, Archangel Raguel and other various Spirit Teachers visit this week to remind us that just because we feel stuck or bored, does not necessarily mean that we ARE.

Sometimes we can be going at break neck speed and we are just cruising right along. Learning, loving, experiencing, creating – we are blissed out in our totally happy little life jam session. And then the pause hits. We don’t know what to do with it. It’s like a car hitting a tree at 60 mph – a sudden stop and halt. But here’s the thing. Sometimes our current energetic coordinates aren’t necessarily leading us where we are ultimately wanting to go and so we intentionally (or many times unintentionally) make the energetic shift to change direction. Yet – and this always makes me sort of cock my head to the side – when life “slows down”, we get baffled. “I don’t want to slow down. I don’t want to stop. I want to keep moving forward. NOW.”

Well Sunshine, these cards remind you that you ARE moving forward in absolute and complete divine timing. Everything is happening in its own perfectly and divinely executed way. You are moving forward. Period. There is no other option. Backwards isn’t reality. You can’t unlearned what you’ve already leaned. Look beyond the physical pause and the illusion of stuckness. See how you can empower yourself by readjusting your perspective? You CAN shift focus. You CAN slow down, take a deep cleansing breath, appreciate the break (whew!), gain clarity within yourself and your body during this time period, and use that passionate and blissful energy that you know you have within you, and gently start to refocus on that new direction – even if it is subtle in nature.

Just like the car speeding down the road takes awhile to slow up, adjust its direction and then gain back its speed, so are you – as you take the time to enjoy life within the pause of the beautiful symphony that is your life. Readjust your sails. Trust in the divine timing. Take this slow time to nourish your Self – body, mind, and soul – and let the refocused energy that you have sent out to Universe work its Divine magic!!!
